1ST HIS INTRA SCHOOL ATHLETIC MEET
Athletics is a group of sporting events that involves competitive running, jumping, throwing, and walking. The most common types of athletics competitions are track and field.
At HIS Karapakkam we have always encouraged Students for participating in all Non Scholastic activities to have a wholesome experience in School. They are given ample opportunities in as well as outside School to showcase their talents.
One such event, the 1st HIS Intra School Athletic Meet was hosted by Karapakkam Campus where the Students of all the three Campuses-Guindy, Padur&Karapakkam participated in various Track & Field Events. It was a day full of physical activities. The Students enthusiastically competed with each other and won laurels for their Campus. Parents witnessed and lauded the achievements of their Wards. The most exciting event was the Relay for all the 4 Categories for Boys and Girls.
Padur Campus was the Winner of the Overall Championship with 229 Points, followed by Karapakkam with 131 Points and Guindy with 101 Points. The Individual Champions in each Category were-

There were so many wow moments when two athletes ran neck to neck and gave their all to cross the finish line first with just a fraction of a second before.The day ended with everyone going back home with a satisfied spirit of having either won or participated through their successful display of Sporting talent and with a hope of competing again in the 2nd HIS Intra School Athletic Meet.
